Voice Sounder Systems
Voice messaging is an alternative to traditional bells or electronic sounders as a means of evacuating a building. At times a simple bell/sounder is not judged sufficient to give a clear message to the building occupants. Typical examples include: Where the occupants may be unfamiliar with the building; Where there is a risk that occupants may not react to a simple alarm sound; Where a risk of panic exists. Voice sounders are available to relay anything from one up to a large number of different messages. Messages can be adapted to building requirements and can range from informing an occupant that the fire alarm is undergoing a test to asking the public to evacuate a certain part of a building and instructing them in the procedure.

PA Voice Systems
Top of the range PA systems which also meet BS5839 fire standards. These systems provide all the facilities and flexibility that you would expect from a professional PA system i.e. background music, live public announcements, etc. They are fully integrated into the fire alarm system and can be programmed to emit a vast number of different messages / sirens fully synchronised when the system goes into alarm.

Multi-message Voice Systems
Ideal where there is a need to inform occupants of a number of alarm conditions e.g. Evacuate, Alert, All Clear, Test. The system has the ability to broadcast up to four different messages in synchronisation across all circuits. Messages can be selected by the user and custom made. The system is controlled by a small panel linked to the fire alarm system.

Simple Voice Sounders
Compact voice sounders which function in the same way as any bell or sounder on a normal fire system. When the sounder is in alarm it emits a pre-recorded message e.g. “Attention! Attention! Please leave by the nearest exit”. The sounders have a high output (100db) and can be synchronised. There is a large variety of messages to choose from, custom messages available.
