Sounder Booster/Splitters
A range of boxed sounder boosters with internal 24Vdc power supplies. The units will connect to any existing conventional alarm line from any panel. Anything from one to twelve additional alarm lines can be provided each fused at 1amp subject to the power supply built into the units. They are particularly useful to expand the number of alarm lines of an existing panel, or when additional strobes are being added to meet the requirements of the disability legislation.
Fault monitoring is provided for mains failure, charger failure and battery disconnection. Internal LEDs signal mains/charger and battery fault. Fused sounder outputs are provided as standard. Low voltage battery monitoring will disconnect the battery to protect it from over discharge. A battery reverse connection protection circuit is also provided.
The enclosure is white, sheet metal with a hinged door and key lock. It is suitable for wall mounting. Battery leads including interlink are provided with each unit. Space is also provided within the enclosure to house standby batteries.
A polarised alarm input relay is provided to allow the extra monitored sounder outputs to be energised into alarm. A fault relay with C/O contacts signals any sounder or power fault. Each monitored sounder output is individually fused together with internal fault LEDs for either open or short circuit.
