Batteries
All fire alarm systems require battery backed power supplies, which are usually sealed lead acid types in modern equipment. Tann Synchronome are able to supply a wide variety of common batteries for use with the majority of fire systems and other related devices. We reccommend that standby batteries in fire alarm equipment should be replaced after five years, or otherwise when the capacity drops below a level sufficient to sustain the system for 24 hours.
